How a Yankee works
A Yankee is eleven bets on four selections: six doubles, four trebles and the four-fold. Like a Trixie it has no singles, so two winners is the floor for a return. It's the four-selection step up from the Trixie, and the four-fold is where a big-priced full house pays off.
Worked example: a £1 Yankee costs £11. Four winners at evens, 2/1, 3/1 and 4/1 return £345 — most of that from the trebles and the four-fold once every leg is in. Two winners still return their one shared double; three winners bring in three doubles and a treble.

What's the difference between a Yankee and a Lucky 15?
A Lucky 15 adds the four singles (and usually bookmaker bonuses), so it pays on one winner and stakes 15 units. A Yankee is the 11-bet version without singles.
How many winners do I need?
Two, to trigger the double they share. Returns climb steeply from there as the trebles and four-fold come into play.
Can a non-runner ruin it?
No — a void leg settles at 1.00 and the Yankee reduces onto the three survivors, turning the four-fold into a treble and so on.
